The "UFM Student Innovation and Startup - UFM Startup 2025" competition has officially launched, promising to bring a useful and attractive playground for the student community nationwide. This is an event organized by the University of Finance - Marketing, aiming to promote the entrepreneurial spirit and create an environment for young people to realize their creative ideas.

The competition aims to equip students with knowledge and skills on entrepreneurship, while supporting scientific research activities, digital transformation, and commercialization of potential projects. In addition, the competition also aims to find feasible ideas to support incubation, gradually forming startup businesses in the future.

To participate, candidates need to register in teams, each team has a minimum of 3 members and a maximum of 5 members. The organizing committee encourages teams to have a combination of faculties/majors and universities to create interdisciplinary projects. Competing projects must ensure they are not on the prohibited list, do not violate intellectual property rights, and have never won First prize (or equivalent) in school-level startup competitions, or First, Second, Third prize (or equivalent) at the City and National levels.

The competition allows participating teams to register projects in a variety of fields, including: Industry, Agriculture - Forestry - Fishery, Education, Health, Culture, Tourism, Financial Services, Banking, and Social impact business.

The competition will go through three challenging rounds:

Round 1 - Preliminary: Takes place from the launch to the end of August 31, 2025. Competing teams will submit project proposals online. Then, the Jury will select the Top 20 best projects to enter the semi-finals. The results will be announced on September 17, 2025 on the official Fanpage of the competition.
Round 2 - Semi-finals: Scheduled to be held on September 21, 2025 at the campus 306 Vo Van Hat, Long Truong Ward, Ho Chi Minh City. Here, the competing teams will be able to unleash their creativity at their booths and in addition, there will be the appearance of many large and small businesses in the Vietnamese market.
Round 3 - Finals: Scheduled to be held on October 5, 2025, at the campus 27 Tan My, Tan Thuan Ward, HCMC. In this round, the Top 10 teams will present their Business Plan (Pitch Deck) and compete in pairs to debate and persuade the Jury.

The prize structure of the competition is extremely attractive:

01 First Prize: 10,000,000 VND, commemorative medal and certificate for each member.
01 Second Prize: 5,000,000 VND, commemorative medal and certificate for each member.
01 Third Prize: 2,000,000 VND, commemorative medal and certificate for each member.
02 Consolation Prizes: 1,000,000 VND and certificate for each member.

In addition, the competition also has 01 Most Favorite Project Prize and 01 Most Creative Project Prize, each worth 1,000,000 VND and a certificate.
