On the morning of March 22, 2026, the Youth Union of the University of Finance - Marketing (UFM) organized Union Member Day 2026 and launched a companion walking program with the theme "Proud of UFM". The activity is part of a series of emulation activities to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2026).

The program was attended by Dr. Cao Tan Huy - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Principal of the school, along with many guests such as Producer Pharmacist Tien, Miss Vietnam 2024 Ha Truc Linh and 2nd Runner-up of Miss Vietnam Students Nguyen Viet Hoai Nam.

More than 2,500 UFM union members and students participated in the event.

Immediately after the opening ceremony, the companion walking activity officially took place, attracting more than 2,500 union members and students to participate. The event created an exciting atmosphere, spreading the spirit of solidarity and social responsibility among the student community.

With the message "Proud of UFM", the program aims to support students in difficult circumstances, while strengthening cohesion throughout the school. In addition, the activity also encourages students to exercise physically, build a positive lifestyle and volunteer spirit for the community. This is also a practical activity to celebrate the 50th Traditional Day of the School (September 1, 1976 - September 1, 2026).

Runner-up Nguyen Viet Hoai Nam - a UFM student - presented gifts of 10 electric motorbikes to students in difficult circumstances

The highlight of the program is the gift giving activity with a total value of over 700 million VND contributed by Runner-up Nguyen Viet Hoai Nam - a UFM student - from her personal rewards. The gifts included 100 bicycles, 10 electric motorbikes, 20 computer sets and a foreign language bookcase, which were handed directly to students in difficult circumstances.

Sharing at the event, student Ho Hoai Ngoc, one of the recipients of an electric motorbike, said the gift helps her be more convenient in studying and working part-time, saving costs and being more proactive in daily life.

Not only stopping at walking activities, UFM Union Member Day 2026 also took place with many rich contents such as: a photo exhibition celebrating the 95th anniversary of the Youth Union's founding; a thematic conference on Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style; seminars and talk shows on life ideals orientation; along with cultural, artistic and sports activities.

Through this series of activities, UFM youth continue to affirm their pioneering role, spirit of solidarity and desire to contribute. The companion steps not only have the meaning of physical training but also spread the message of sharing, contributing to building the image of students living beautifully and usefully in the community.
