On the evening of August 6, 2023, at Dam Sen Cultural Park, the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union solemnly organized the 30th Anniversary of Ho Chi Minh City summer volunteer programs and campaigns.

In 2023, UFM Youth continued to promote the spirit of pioneering and volunteering in contributing to building a civilized and developed city. The activities aimed to celebrate the 30th anniversary of summer volunteer programs and campaigns of the City youth (1994 - 2023)... In the 2023 Green Summer volunteer campaign, the Campaign Command Board recorded 3372 participating soldiers.

With key operating areas in the campaign: Phu Nhuan district, District 7, Thu Duc City, Tan Binh district and Hoc Mon district, Ho Chi Minh City, An Phu district, An Giang province. The command board carried out youth projects such as: Awarding 100 policy family gifts, total value of 50,000,000 VND to Vietnamese heroic mothers, policy families of union members and youth with difficult circumstances...

With the efforts and endeavors of the soldiers and the campaign command board, UFM Youth was honored to receive 2 Certificates of Merit from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Student Association: one for the unit with outstanding achievements in the 2023 Green Summer volunteer campaign; the other for the unit with outstanding achievements in the Green Summer volunteer campaign for the period 1994 - 2023.
