On July 24, 2026, the University of Finance and Marketing held a Commendation Ceremony for students with high achievements in academic, cultural - artistic, physical - sports competitions in the first 6 months of 2026; and awarded prizes for competitions celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the University's Traditional Day. The program was chaired by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Trung Dao, Vice Rector of the University.

Attending the program were representatives of leaders of units under the University, the Standing Committee of the Youth Union, the Secretariat of the Student Association, guiding lecturers along with students achieving typical achievements in competitions.

Speaking at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Trung Dao congratulated and praised the spirit of effort, bravery, and aspiration to conquer of UFM students. He emphasized that each achievement gained is not only the pride of the individual, collective, and guiding lecturers, but also contributes to affirming the training quality, comprehensive learning and training environment of the University.

At the program, the University of Finance and Marketing announced commendation decisions, awarded certificates of merit and prizes to individuals and collectives achieving high results in academic, cultural - artistic, and physical - sports arenas in the first 6 months of 2026.

The commended contents span many fields, including 15 excellent achievements at the "UFM in me" competition, 21 achievements at the online competition to learn about the 50th Anniversary of the University's Traditional Day, 2 achievements at the National Student Mathematics Olympiad, along with other outstanding results at the Econometrics Olympiad, STU Basketball Tournament, and Aviation Volleyball Tournament.

The achieved results demonstrate the proactiveness, creativity, and unremitting efforts of UFM students in learning, scientific research, cultural - artistic activities, and physical training. Through this, students not only affirm their personal capacity but also contribute to spreading the dynamic, brave, and comprehensive image of UFM learners.

Besides commending students, the University also respectfully pays tribute to the guiding lecturers who have dedicatedly accompanied, supported professionally, and inspired, helping students confidently participate and promote their capacity at playgrounds inside and outside the University.

Within the framework of the program, students also attended a thematic report "Effective scientific research methods for students". The theme contributed to equipping more knowledge, methods, and research skills, helping students step by step form academic thinking, improve creativity, and apply knowledge to solve practical problems.

The commendation ceremony is a timely recognition of the outstanding efforts and achievements of students, and at the same time provides more motivation for UFM learners to continue studying, training, creating, and conquering new milestones. The program also contributes to spreading pride, strengthening the bond between students and the University in the journey towards the 50th Anniversary of the Traditional Day of the University of Finance and Marketing.
