Aiming to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Traditional Day of the University of Finance and Marketing (September 1, 1976 - September 1, 2026), and at the same time marking a new development step after UFM officially established Branches in Hue City and Quang Ngai Province, recently, with the approval of the Party Committee - Board of Rectors, the Youth Union - Student Association of the University of Finance and Marketing (UFM) established and officially launched the Volunteer Soldier Team of UFM Hue and Quang Ngai branches.

This is the first time a volunteer team model specifically for branch students has been deployed at UFM, opening opportunities for students of the campuses to exchange, learn, experience reality, and strengthen cohesion in the common home of UFM.

Overcoming a distance of more than 1,000 km, 10 volunteer soldiers from the Hue and Quang Ngai Branches arrived in Ho Chi Minh City, officially starting a 10-day journey (from July 17 to July 27, 2026) with many meaningful activities within the framework of the UFM 2026 Green Summer Volunteer Campaign.

During the activity period, the team will accompany the UFM Green Summer volunteer soldiers in Ho Chi Minh City with many practical activities such as participating in the "Proud of Identity" Festival, the program "One Day as a People's Police Soldier", Green Sunday, visiting and giving gifts to policy families, the "Lighting candles of gratitude" program, children's activities along with many other social security and community activities.

With the spirit of "UFM is one", the soldiers from the two branches quickly integrated into the common operating environment of UFM youth, together spreading the pioneering spirit, responsibility, and enthusiasm of the university's students. Although the preparation time was short and this is the first time the model has been deployed, with proactiveness, solidarity, and determination, the team quickly adapted, creating positive marks right from the first days.

Sharing about this activity, Mr. Nguyen Tien Khoi, Secretary of the Youth Union of the University of Finance and Marketing, said: "This is one of the first activities of the Youth Union - Student Association of the University after UFM officially established branches in Hue City and Quang Ngai province. Although the preparation process took place in a rather short and rushed time, we believe that this volunteer journey will bring many valuable experiences for the students of the two branches. More importantly, this will be the foundation for the University and the Youth Union - Student Association to continue implementing many exchange, learning, and volunteer programs among students of the campuses in the coming time, contributing to building a united, cohesive, and developing UFM community."

Organizing the volunteer team of students from Hue and Quang Ngai Branches not only marks the initial step in the connection process between UFM's training facilities but also demonstrates the determination to build a unified learning and training environment, where all students have the opportunity to dedicate, mature, and spread the good values of youth.

The first marks of the volunteer team of Hue and Quang Ngai Branches in Ho Chi Minh City will be an important premise for UFM to continue expanding exchange, volunteer, and practical experience activities among students of the campuses in the coming time, contributing to affirming the spirit of "UFM is one", aiming towards the goal of building a generation of dynamic, responsible, integrated students ready to dedicate to the community.
