Not only connecting knowledge and inspiring creativity, the University of Finance - Marketing (UFM) also consistently upholds its responsibility to the community and the nation through practical actions.

On September 10, 2026, UFM participated in the Handover Ceremony of financial contributions for the 2026 Fund "For the Homeland's Seas and Islands – For the Nation's Frontline" at the Southern Naval Command. The program was attended by representatives of the University's Party Committee, Board of Rectors, and the Trade Union Executive Committee.

In response to the campaign, UFM's faculty and staff jointly contributed the equivalent of one day's salary, reaching a total of 525,744,006 VND.

Each contribution is a token of affection from the mainland sent to the officers, soldiers, and citizens living and working on the islands and DK1 platforms – those who are standing firm day and night, braving the wind and waves, to help safeguard the sacred sovereignty of the nation's seas and islands.

Specifically, according to Ho Chi Minh City's plan, from September 11 to 18, 2026, a UFM delegation will embark on a journey to visit and encourage the officers, soldiers, and citizens on the islands in the Southwestern waters and DK1 platforms, stopping at various destinations: Con Dao – Hon Khoai – Tho Chu – Hon Chuoi – Nam Du – Hon Doc – Phu Quoc.

A day's salary may be a material contribution, but behind it lies the solidarity of the UFM collective, as well as the affection, responsibility, and gratitude extended to those who are performing their duties at the frontline day and night.

From the lecture halls to the community, from the mainland towards the seas and islands – the spirit of responsibility is always an integral part of UFM's development journey.
